I have put up 10 more transcriptions for the Return of the King that have been arranged by Christian Afonso (a big thanks for emailing them to me). He has arranged the first 12 tracks of the RotK soundtrack. All the arrangements are high quality and very accurate. I've also updated the requests page (as I now have all of the RotK requests!).

I have been given another piece of sheet music from a very nice fan of the music who has asked for me to give its internet debut on this website. It's 'The Black Rider' from the Fellowship of the Ring and it can be found on the 'Other Music' page. It's a very good arrangement as well - one of the better ones I get.

Sorry about the lack of recent posts - I've been busy with other things recently. Though I'm still working on the shire when I've have time. Hopefully I'll be able to start working hard next week as I'm nearly off school for this year.

I've added the chorus part from what seems to be Frodo's Song. I'm not really sure where this comes from or whether it was used in the film but you can have a look and decide for yourself. It's under "Other Music" - "Music not arranged for Piano".

I have finished my transcription of 'Prologue: One Ring to Rule Them All' and it is in the 'My Transcriptions' section. This is probably the hardest of my transcriptions to play to date (you have been warned). I would appreciate any feedback or comments you might have or any mistakes you pick up. As always, you can email me the comments or, since the new layout of the site, you can write them in the comments part of this post. (Just click on the writing that says '0 Comments').

More Music

20/08/2008

I have added some more music to "Other Music - Return of the King" and "Other Music - Music not arranged for piano": A Storm is Coming, Anduril, Arwen's Song, Pelennor Fields and The Black Gate Opens. They are all in .gif format. I have also added some exerts from the original scores.

I have added a list of what unfinished pieces I have and what I am currently working on. If you want a copy of one of my unfinished pieces then email me. But some of them are very bare (e.g. Flaming Red Hair). So don't expect much from some. Others, however, have quite a lot (e.g. Prologue). But I can't be bothered writing up how much of each of them is finished. So if you want them then you'll just have to hope you get lucky with your pick(s). Or you could ask for all of them I suppose.

Edge of Night

19/08/2008

I have added a small arrangement of "The Edge of Night" to "Other Music - Music not arranged for piano". It was arranged by Christian Alfonso and was a lucky find as I stumbled across a link from another site to this piece of music on Christian's site. I checked his site out and 'the edge of night' was not linked to from his site so I was just lucky that this file was still on the server.

New Layout

19/08/2008

Welcome to the new layout for this site. Hopefully it will be easier to navigate and keep an eye on. I have removed some arrangements that are not from Lord of the Rings and were not transcribed by me. I decided that the purpose of this site was for Lotr music and my own transcriptions. I will be posting any updates to the site here and so if you want notification about new sheet music or requests then subscribe to the rss feed (I recommend using Google Reader). I also plan to add a 'What I am working on' something so you know what I'm doing.

    About this site.

I have made this site as an easy way for people to download my arrangements of film music. I found that emailing sheet music to whoever wanted it was getting to be too much work.
All the arrangements below I have been arranged by ear and I would appreciate any feedback. If you would like the arrangements in Sibelius format then email me.
